Advanced University degree in a relevant field
(e.g. public health, water supply, social sciences, environmental sciences or
a field relevant to international WASH related de-velopment assistance);
At least 15 years professional work experience
with a non-governmental organisation, including fieldwork experience
preferably in Somaliland, South Sudan and/or Ethiopia;
Proven track record in leadership, management,
planning and strategic processes;
Extensive experience with training, capacity
building, PM&E, and PRA methodologies;
Strong analytical capacity – working and thinking
on an academic level;
Outstanding communication and advisory skills
(e.g. experience with (technical) adviso-ry services, facilitating meetings,
workshops and training for varied audiences);
Excellent written and oral communication skills in
English, knowledge of German will be an added advantage;
Flexibility, good interpersonal and networking
skills, ability to work in multi-cultural envi-ronment and sensitivity to
cultural values; and
Knowledge of the Caritas network and the
structures and relief and development activi-ties of the Catholic Church is
an added advantage
