Data Entry Intern DRC


BACKGROUND
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has been providing relief and development services in the Horn of Africa since 1997. Using a protection of human rights framework, DRC has mainly focused on those who are displaced by conflict. Programmes include protection, livelihoods, food and NFI distribution, water and sanitation, and advocacy amongst others, as well as non-operational regionwide initiatives, focusing on advocacy and capacity building. The Somaliland operation includes four sub-offices that are supported by the Hargeisa main office. Currently there is over 80 DRC staff in the region.
PURPOSE
The Data Entry Intern will ensure Storing correct information in the DAD database locations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurate interpretation, compilation,and entering of data in the computer system. Proper analysis and verification to ensure data integrity.
Storing correct information in the desired database locations i.e. DAD system. Completion of the required task within the desired deadline.
Manage additional responsibilities including troubleshooting, file back-ups, regular updating, and retrieval of data, as and when required. Updating of internal standard reporting formats
Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being dealt with.

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The post holder will contribute to the successful implementation of:
• A one-year OT Nurse Training Course
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curriculum, course content, and course materials and methods of
instruction in collaboration with Ministry of Health (MoH), Pharo, other tutors, SLNMA, and
Hargeisa Institute of Health Sciences (HIOHS) .
• Monitor effective implementation of the curriculum  and evaluate students achievements
including knowledge, skills, and attitudes throughout the training
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide leadership, supervision and mentoring for Lecturers.
2. Support the effective management and implementation of the overall programme, giving
particular emphasis to monitoring and quality assurance.
3. Maintain an up to date knowledge of OT Nursing Education and ensure professional, academic
and clinical practice credibility.

The Country Director is a senior manager position, mainly supporting the execution of VSF Germany strategic objectives and working in respective country as the contact of the organization.
We are looking for a qualified, competent person, to take up the position of Country Director for Somalia. The incumbent will be based in Garowe, Puntland with frequent travels to Somaliland and other project areas.
